Snag Route
A snag angles inside to about 5 yards and settles in the open window under the coverage, facing you; against man it breaks back outside. With a corner route behind it, it forms the Snag concept, a low-high read on the cornerback.

How the Snag Is Run
The receiver releases on an inside angle, finds the soft spot between underneath defenders and sits. The dotted path in Crucible's diagram (labeled MATCH) is the man-coverage adjustment.
What It Beats
- Zones that drop their underneath defenders to the corner or flat routes.
- Man coverage, breaking away from leverage.
