This Crucible Sales Privacy Policy is an addendum to the CrucibleTech, Inc. Privacy Policy. It describes the personal information collected and used by the Crucible Sales mobile application, an internal sales tool used by authorized Crucible personnel to accept in-person payments and send optional digital receipts.
If this addendum conflicts with the general Privacy Policy for Crucible products, this addendum controls for the Crucible Sales application.

Information Crucible Sales Collects
Crucible Sales collects the following limited information to provide app functionality:

Payment Information
Crucible Sales uses Tap to Pay on iPhone and Stripe to support in-person contactless payments. When a customer presents a contactless card, Apple Pay, or another supported digital wallet, the card or wallet credential is handled by Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone system and Stripe’s payment processing services.
Crucible Sales does not collect, receive, store, or display full payment card numbers, primary account numbers, card security codes, or magnetic stripe data. Payment information is used only to complete the requested transaction through the payment processor.
How We Use Information
We use information collected through Crucible Sales to:
- Authenticate authorized Crucible Sales representatives.
- Confirm that a signed-in user has permission to use the sales tool.
- Prepare and complete in-person checkout for managed teams or organizations.
- Send a digital receipt when a customer email address is optionally provided.
- Maintain the security and integrity of Crucible systems.
- Comply with legal, accounting, tax, dispute, and reporting obligations.
How We Share Information
We share Crucible Sales information only as needed to operate the app and complete related business processes, including with:
- Authentication providers. We use authentication services, including Cognito, to sign in authorized representatives and enforce role-based access.
- Payment processors. We use Stripe and Apple Tap to Pay on iPhone to process in-person contactless payments. Crucible Sales does not receive full card numbers.
- Service providers. We may share limited information with vendors that host, secure, support, or maintain Crucible systems.
- Legal and compliance recipients. We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, systems, or business.
Tracking
Crucible Sales does not use the sales representative email address, optional customer receipt email address, User ID, or payment transaction flow for tracking across apps or websites owned by other companies.
How We Protect and Retain Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through Crucible Sales. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but the app is limited to authorized users and uses role-based access controls for sales functionality.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this addendum and the general Privacy Policy, including security, accounting, tax, legal, dispute, and compliance purposes.
